I have a bad feeling about this, ready the turbo lasers just in case
Been with battlefield from the start, if they add micro transactions i wont buy the game on principle. I feel like alot of people are gonna be of the same stance.
So ea can bite me. I will continue to refuse to buy their products.
More? Does the original ea battlefront have microtransations? I own it and i don t see any. If someone can explain this to me incase i missed something in game.
It s stupid all ea says for news is bigger better worlds, more stuff, more stuff, more stuff, and even more stuff, that you ultimately have to buy individually
Seems like all disney and ea care about is what s in our wallets. What happened to the disney i used to know? Walt disney is shuddering in his grave. I like star wars, but making cheap micro transactions in all the games is a really cheap way to get a lot of money
I m sick to death of ea. They re deliberately slowing down the game process to play on gamer s impatience. Yes, you can advance without spending more than the large sum you already shelled out on the game, but the progression is much slower. I also believe that ea are exceptionally greedy in that their microtransactions are massively overpriced, as they also are in the mobile device game star wars galaxy of heroes. You re not even guaranteed to get the item you re buying a data card for! You may cough up the dough and end up with just a small part of what you wanted to buy. My other issue with ea is that i bought star wars battlefront under the impression, given by ea that it would be a massively updated version of the original sw battlefront games. But, there was hardly any offline content and most of the great maps from the original games were not there. I don t like to play online because i don t have the time to get so good that i can compete with the gamers that spend their lives playing. I usually get killed before i even reach the battlefield and don t even get a chance to learn to play the game properly. Ea promised to rectify that by adding an offline mode, which they never did. Now i m expected to pay out again, with still no guarantee of an offline mode for battlefront ii. They know we re all star wars nuts, and they are deliberately fleecing us at every opportunity. I want to buy a game, play the game that i ve already paid too much money for, earn what i need to progress and choose whether or not i play online or not! I wonder how long it will be before gamers get wise to the pure greed of ea and other companies like them, and start to boycott them, or will they just roll over and accept the abuse of their trust and loyalty.
Ahahaa soo glad im done wuth bf i meam hardline was pushing it but bf man hahahaha
What about titanfall though
You know star wars is dead when you hear ea is making star wars just like fifa.
I do not care. If the microtransactions don t effect the campaign i am fine with it.
I m happy i stopped buying anything from ea.
The know question, can you try to find out for me o, ease will there be a single player campaign in this game? I bought the first one with out really knowing if there would be one and was not to happy when i found out there was not one. Any info i appreciate it. Thank you in andavnce.
U haven t heard the worst part yet. Say fifa came out, u invested thousands of dollars on ur squad, then fifa comes out and u cant move ur team to the new game, resulting in loosing ur money completly, because the more time goes by, the less ur players are worth. Genius right?
Screw you ea dice trying to get more money for less yet again! Just listen to what the fans want like you promised to do. If not then just f ck off and leave star wars games intact and fun. Nobody wants to keep paying for content that should be in the game from the start. If you want a good idea for bf just reboot and update the old one that is way better then this ckoffmicrotransactions
Media, critics, and gamers from the comments below make it clear we don t want or like micro transactions. But the numbers are showing we do and we love it? Who s paying this money and who s lying saying they hate it but yet still pay it?
Gawd i hope mass effect doesn t have microtransactions or i m gonna have to boycott that too xd
As long as they keep the micro transactions cosmetic like battlefield and titanfall, who the hell cares? People love to jump on the ea hate train, but they do microtransactions a hell of a lot better than any other company. Titanfall has a free dlc model because of them for hell s sake. As long as it doesn t affect gameplay, let the kids run up their moms credit card bills for skins as much as you want ea.
You don t reload in star war battlefront. The guns overheat.
